I like it a lot. Looks like you have some sss in that material, and it's really effective. If not, then it's still a great material; very intriguing. Our professor last week was talking about organic modeling for sculpture design, and some techniques he showed us, which included a lot of tapered extrusions from arbitrary polygonal surfaces, resulted in similar shapes to this, but not quite as cool.
well i thank you .. I just fiddle about with my mats but no sss which is with vray?! i think.. just a base reflective fresnelwith my own tweaking ..what I think gives it the good organic look is that I am taking a still image from a moving dynamic body so the influences of the formula that allow the object to fall and bounce and interact with all its moving parts give it a random and less structured pose, some stills don't work out so well so you have to catch the best frame in the sequence
