Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Just wondered what other people had experienced... and what you think!!

I find that on a good number of my wallpapers I get more people downloading than faving....in my opinion that is pretty crap..If you think it is good enough to download and stick on your screen you should have the courtesy to at least fave it..

not really a rant but makes it makes me a little sad that I take the time and effort to try put out stuff that folks will like and enjoy..

I have made rants about faving before and got bombarded with comments like: faves are meaningless...who cares about faves...what are you going to do with your faves...I don't even look at faves or keep track etc. Some people said they unfave things after a while because they don't like what they faved when they were in a particular mood. Some people fave stratigically so their profile gets looked at by the person they faved.
To me the number of downloads is meaningless because most of the time I click on the image and it shows me the full size. I rarely click the download button.
Basically, who cares.

ah well.. i think although i may be wrong ..that faves do count in as much as that they place your image in ratings against other peoples work..the more faves the higher up you are in the(8hs,day,3 day,week,month,all time) most faved..
So i guess what bothers me is that those who download to use my work as a wallpaper sometimes don't have the courtesy to give my work the standing it deserves, I and loads of others (yourself included) put in lots of work and don't charge for that work ..in fact I pay a sub so that others can enjoy more dA work in the form of articles/journals etc.. so for me the payment I guess I want is a fave as it is the only thing that keeps your work in view so to speak..
but yeah..who cares indeed, I much prefer a friendly comment
